I have just learned something very important about the pelvic clock exercise. It can be done without involving the hips at all. And that teaches the individuation of the hips from the pelvis — required for developing flexibility in both the back and legs.
Put the hips back INTO the equation, and you have “moving from the center,” and it works like a charm.
So it’s like doing bad hula-hoop with no hip movement is a step towards really GOOD body movement.
