And on my blog, there aren’t the sort of geeks who’ll try to argue physics here… but, really, the fist-bump really makes this.

/ May 11, 2009Ah yes, the eternal argument. Star Wars vs. Star Trek.
I’ll see your geek cred, and raise you two.
1) Ewoks. That’s why Star Wars loses. That and the hand of Lucas.
2) I’ve seen Star Wreck, and it’s clear that Babylon 5 dominates.

Seriously (as much as one can be serious in this post) thanks for posting this. Nicely enjoyable. My favorite stormtrooper bit is the “Troopers” parody of “Cops”.

/ May 11, 2009Oh, we’ve got B5 playing right now…

/ May 12, 2009Man, my wife chews through them so fast, I can’t even remember. She’s totally into the whole light/dark thing, and for some reason dislikes Chaos. Particularly when it involves my socks.
Most of Season Four was last night…

/ May 12, 2009I sympathize with your wife. About the socks that is.
Season 4 was a good one – I can see how you’d go through it so fast.

/ May 13, 2009I actually think the proper question on ST vs SW is “which melieu would you rather be a normal member of?” I’ll take Trek over Wars any day based on that.
The video’s fun though, even with the sound off.

/ May 17, 2009Oh that was GOOD. Yeah, I have to go with Trek over Wars simply for the “The good guys won because they were good guys” thing, never mind minor facts like the Imperial Military machine being rock hard solid. Until they hit the Rebels, and then they can’t hit the floor if they fell down.
I however prefer BOLOs to either one. Of course, its a limited scenario, but its the “what ifs” that are fun. How about a BOLO starship? They did have BOLO attack planes in one which were quite fun. But no BOLO movies yet, so I have to wait.
