/ October 20, 2008Looks like Rudy will have company – my cat Grace went this weekend. My sincere condolences, it’s hard to lose a friend you’ve had for many years.
We’re opting for cremation and me putting the ashes as a base for a plant in the gardens. She loved to eat plants so I’m hoping the irony of plant eating her ashen remains won’t annoy her spirit too much. She wanted a pyramid so I could make sacrifices Egyptian style to her, but I couldn’t get the building permit.

Much as we try to take this in good humor, it was a hard weekend. I keep looking for him around the house or litening for his voice.
