It counts.  Drink cocoa.  Preferably w/o tons of sugar.

In fact, I just might do that tonight, after “kicking people in the head” and before “lesson planning”  …

  3. In other news, Duh.

    Scientists have known that chocolate improves vascular performance for 10-20 years and yet, for some unknown reason, every other week there’s a big story announcing it.

    Eat non-fat chocolate.
    More specifically, eat the darkest chocolate you can get.

  4. It’s a hit-piece because it smells like a hit-piece. Someone’s working on the viral marketing of cocoa is all.

    I invoke the “if it walks like a duck, quacks like a duck and plays GTA like a duck” rule.

  6. um, I’m not accusing you of making a hit piece — I’m saying that the guy who put the link up put up a prewritten marketing “news item” that isn’t news, it’s marketing.

  7. By that standards, lots of health writing is just marketing, JimDesu.

  8. Sadly, that’s true — that’s why I read “science” news, but not “health” news.
