Yet more evidence for the “Hizballah didn’t want this” theory

Big Pharaoh has a very interesting post describing a rather chagrined-sounding Nasrallah.. a Nasrallah without the usual strutting.

Well, given the way Israel is tearing HA limb from limb, I wouldn’t be strutting, either… and given HA’s complete inability to create any sort of militarily meaningful action (the missile launches, being near random infrastructure and civilian damage, hardly qualify), what’s his prospects for HA surviving four or five weeks of this?

Ynet also reports that Iran’s talking some serious turkey about satisfying Israeli demands.  And well they should.  If HA does manage to suck Syria into this, Iran’s on the stick to defend them and send supplies/troops… and that means they get spanked.

None of this is looking like the hysterical “oh my God, Iran and Syria have chosen their time and we’re playing into their game-plan” nonsense.
