  2. Oh, just FYI, my minivan seats six. Seven if you’re small and cute.

  3. Hrm… and probably some space for a rifle or two and my arrows, if we’re careful.

(I think I could put up a pretty fantastic smoke-grenade barrage with the arrows… in practice I get off 15-18 per minute, and the smokers go for about a minute…).

Yeah. I like that angle, damned souls and firearms and explosives. It works. Speaking of which, yes Jim, we did use the Lizard. Used a new powder and have mixed results. On the shot Russ and Anna saw, we got a fireball, but no boom. On the second one, we got a big boom that actually cracked the concrete the Lizard was on. No fishing though, not enough time. But we do have footage of the good lizard shot, stay tuned for further developments.

    The Dark Side awaits.

  7. I’ll pick your brain next time on the story then, I need a military eye at the end anyway. It has vampires, fairies, werewolves, secret Vatican archives and soldier-types…All the fun. Stuff WILL get blowed up often…

I figured as much. Love life of the damned didn’t exactly sound like vintage Russ. I haven’t heard anything from Squeak yet, if she hasn’t seen this photo, she needs to. We should have taken a picture of the Prime Rib for Johnathan. Then we can work on them both. Although, he is from Kansas, so maybe the guns will awaken a long dormant spirit. You can take a Kansasan out of Kansas, but can you take the Kansas out of the Kansasan?

  10. In Jonathon’s case? Probably. Not much love of Kansas there.
Squeak’s enrout to Milledgeville, GA, to look at all things Flannery O’Connor for the weekend, so she can commit to either trying to get her dissertation published, or else putting it behind her for good.

    Don’t worry, we’re on it…

  11. Indeed, very little love is lost between Kansas and me; traditionalist political cultures are fine only if you’re on the right side.

Put most succinctly: Google George Ronald York and think ‘corruption of blood’.

Even though most have forgotten the incident itself, the name York remained a pariah for a long time after. My little brother ran into that when he was looking for work in Manhattan about four years ago.

Ouch. Well, that answers that question. Makes it rather easy infact to get rid of the Kansasan.

  13. Heh. 🙂 Yeah, I’m in Milledgeville, but I’ll be heading back to Dallas tomorrow. Yes, explosively throwing little pieces of metal death is YAYFUL!
