We’re having a …. zombie?

Actually, we’re having a minor Downs scare. Hopefully all will be well — we’ll have lab results Friday.

Mean time, why are we having a zombie? Well, take a look:

Oh.  It gets even more Halloweenish when they move out of field…

Yeah, *I* know she’s yawning, because I’ve seen the video (and yes, definitely a she).  But… dayum.  I’m not phased at all by poop and muck and mess, but… babies are REALLY GROSS without their babyfat.

The first image I saw of my son was an ultrasound of the skull. It is indeed a little unnerving at first and both of us admitted to each other later that the first thought that popped in our heads was “Undead Baby?”
The images I saw were in 1996 – the imaging software now is pretty impressive. Thanks for sharing.
I hope all will be well otherwise.

Wow! Even when I had weekly ultra sounds with the twins, which were *super* high risk, no 3-D imaging. That was only 3 years ago.

This is just amazing! You can see all of her at 17 weeks?!?

BTW…If you want to see a different perspective on “how doth my sweet baby grow?” You might want to try http://3dpregnancy.parentsconnect.com/

I’m guessing your Bunny doesn’t mind you divulging the details??

Blessings to all 3 of you :)

Just had a funny thought… we get a kick out of a song called, “Cleaning My Gun.”
We’re going to have to do a special version for the new Daddy… cleaning my swords
Anyway, just had to post the original songs on our blog in case you want a grin

Yep, almost 18 weeks and that’s how she looks like. Normally they don’t do the 3-d until week 22 (when they check for the heart forming normally), but the technician thought to check since I was there for the amnio anyway and the ultrasound was showing her swimming around like Michael Phelps… I was pretty impressed by the technology–especially after the technician offered to burn a bunch of the images and some short videos on a CD for us as well.
Now I am sitting on my butt resting, like a good girl. :)

  5. That’s incredible – now when I look at Anna’s tummy, I’ll know who’s in there :-)

A GIRL!!!! someone needs to peel me off of the ceiling!! G’pa Tony would, but he’s in the other room screaming! (just kidding-he’s not a screamer–more like a reserved shouter) Needless to say, we’re both excited…well, beyond excited! I think she’s practicing blowing kisses!
