I’m *finally* starting to heal up after having hurt my back, BIG-TIME, two years ago. I have days now where I only hurt a few hours at a stretch (if you’ve ever had your back out, you’ll know this isn’t snarking. Five random lurkers who also have had back injuries are yelling into their laptops “you lucky son-of-a-bitch!”)…
two things worth noting come with that.
First, it’s AMAZING how you let the rest of your body go when you can’t change the shape of your spine like you should.
Second, and even funnier, once your body starts actually changing shapes again, it’s amazing what you need to pop… I just spent almost five minutes doing the “gotta pop something dance” until I managed to pop the joints connecting my ribs to the left side of my sternum.
Yeah. I just popped my sternum. Spine, hips, elbows, that’s all to be expected. Fingers? Stereotype for us arthritic folks.
But STERNUM?
Dude.
